This Ascension weekend, our top Phronesys team was ready at the start of the 1000 km for Fight Against Cancer (non-profit organization). Together we raised 11,000 euros for cancer research, a project that has our full support.

Why do we participate?
Fight Against Cancer is an action that is close to our hearts. In recent years we have seen some of our colleagues, customers and close friends fight against - and win from - cancer. To show how much we care about them, we are happy to commit to this charity. ❤
Our collected start money goes entirely to cancer research. This is necessary, because every year 40,000 Flemish people hear that they have cancer. Although cancer can be treated better and better, one in three does not survive the disease. Those who do survive cancer often experience long-term consequences.
That is why Kom op tegen Kanker invests the net proceeds of the 1000 km in research that has a direct added value for the well-being of the patient and where the financial need is the highest. So we make a direct difference for many cancer patients.
